My son is bigger than most children of his age - due to us being giants - and this fits him perfectly! I had no problems putting this quad together; it was very straight forward. Make sure you follow the engine break-in guidelines in your manual to be sure you get the most life out of your kids quad. I know some people may have had problems, but you do take a chance when purchasing online, so ask tons of questions if needed before you buy.
