Awesome quad! Easy assembly. Had it together in no time and kids were enjoying it. Plan on buying another one. Only issue I had was with the shipping, I ordered another quad and how they had them stacked in transit cause a little cosmetic damage to one of the fenders. Overall awesome quad

Just wanted to say thanks for the great ATV. PowersportsMax did a great job getting it shipped out quickly and the shipping company was a genuine pleasure to work with. This was a Christmas gift for my son and the hardest part in all of it was keeping it out of sight! The ATV arrived well packaged and there were no missing parts. Assembly was not difficult (I've been working on my own cars/street bikes for years so YMMV) but there were a few brief moments I was unsure what went where which was quickly figured out and we were right back on track. As someone who has never put one together before, my son and I put in about two hours of total assembly time which included replacing the oil and sparkplug with high quality parts. One small issue I found was the battery cover which was tough to get on and did not allow for the wires to pass through easily. I just cut a small section of the battery box which was a small and easy modification to make. For bolting the cover on, I used a large C-clamp to hold it in place while I tightened the bolts which made it a breeze.
A few things I was really glad to see:
- I read a lot about Grease fittings being an odd size - Not the case here
- I read about how carburetor's on these ATV's would be completely maladjusted - Ours ran great out of the box.
- Startup is absolutely great. Turn the key, apply choke, hit the starter for a few seconds and it starts. No drama, no fiddling. Wait about 15 seconds (Or until the engine starts to sputter a bit) turn off the choke and it will idle perfectly.
A few area's that could be better:
- The battery box
- Better information on what oils to use. I used Rotella-T 15W40 which I use in all of my bikes but it would be great to have a recommended oil.
- Actual Assembly instructions. Just a simple guide that lists all the parts you should have and tell you what they are for. Again, I was able to figure it out, but it would have been a LOT easier if I was sure I had everything and knew where it was going!
- It's not really a "bad" thing but something to be aware of: The engine started smoking about 15 minutes after it was started. I think there is some kind of an oil on the exterior to keep the engine protected. This burned off after about 15 minutes and has been fine since. Just don't panic if you see it. Check the engine to make sure there aren't any leaks. If you don't see any oil just give it a little. It will likely stop smoking.
These are really small issues and quite honestly it is much better than I had anticipated. Most importantly my son is over the moon about his Blazer9! Great job guys and thanks from us both!
This go kart was perfect for my son. He has had a blast and I would recommend this item to anyone. The go kart is solid and was made much better than expected. It also has a lot of safety features.
