Very smooth purchase. Motorcycle arrived on time and in good condition. Would definitely consider them again in the future.
Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the motorcycle for a bit over $1,000.

Bought this as a cheap, entry level bike for my lady. She's 5'3" so we needed a low seat height and we wanted something we could beat up and not feel bad about. Man, does this thing deliver! It arrived after about 4 or 5 days, packed in its nifty little crate. All I had to do to assemble was 1) disassemble the crate and unmount the bike 2) install front wheel and axle 3) connect rear suspension linkages 4) fill and install wet cell battery 5) lower forks in the headframe 6) install handlebars 70 add loctite to every bolt I felt needed it and 8) gas and go! That may seem like a little bit of wrenching but I actually enjoyed it. It was like a giant erector set from back in the day.

After gassing it up and figuring out the choke and kill switch are reversed she started right up and purrs quite nicely! Its been on several adventures in the desert and handled quite a bit of terrain. It has taken a good beating and so far the only concern I have is that there is a little bit of play in the forks. I took a tumble while fooling around and it knocked the front wheel out of alignment. Pinched it between my knees and flexed the handlebars and all is well again. That being said it is not a bike I'd go ripping off jumps, but definitely a great starter or practice bike, especially for the price! It'll carry my 130 lbs fiancee to about 55mph and itll take my 190lbs up to 45 without straining the engine too hard.
I love, love, love this little thing. Performs to expectations, great sporty aesthetic, and cheap as hell. I might get another.

This bike is amazing and worth I have had a few minor issues. One of the covers on the gas tank was broke but fixed with super glue. The carb leaks but with something this cheap not surprised and a very easy fix. Other than that no real problems. Got the MSO in less than 2 weeks.

Pros:
Just want to start out saying that this is a very nice motorcycle for the money. I appreciate the time you have allotted me to let you know of the good and the bad pertaining to the RPS Magician 250.

The sales representative was absolutely bar none the most helpful, professional and courteous person I have dealt with in a while. Once the order was placed, I received follow up emails letting me know the status and delivery time (Five days) for the motorcycle.

When the bike arrived it was well packaged with no flaws. It took me about 2 hours to assemble. Did have trouble with it starting, went on line found out that it has a safety switch on the kick stand which solved the problem and it started right up.

I took the Magician for a short test ride at which time I realized the speedometer was not working, unscrewed the cable were it connects to the wheel speed sensor the cable was twisted off. Contacted parts and they submitted it to the manufacturer, two weeks later received the parts.

The bike has a great seat height for short people like myself and is very agile and easy to handle in rough terrain. Also has plenty of power for slow back country riding.

Cons;
MSO is slow to get to me after paying to have it expedited.

Parts take a long time to get to the consumer for warranty work.

Make sure to take ever bolt out and lock tight it!!!! I did not because I wanted to see if it was true what was being said on the reviews. I have put 400 mile on the bike already some paved road mostly forestry dirt roads and have had the chain guide bolt work loose, the exhaust bolt back out and the foot pedal brake lever bolt fall completely off and have no rear brake coming down a very steep forestry gravel road with 150 to 200 foot drop offs (not happy with the QC guys and gals at RPS during that adventure). Please take the time to add lock tight to your bolts to keep bad things happening to good people. I would be willing to pay a little bit more for the added safety feature!

The speedometer is in MPH but the odometer is still in Kilometers. When it shows 175 mile I will have gone by GPS 108 miles so the mileage on the bike is going to be much higher that it actual is, in most cases would be bad for resale but for what you pay for the bike does not really matter.

This bike has a lot of vibration at 55 MPH so be sure to do a very thorough pre trip inspection of all bolts.

With all the above remarks I think this bike is well worth the money and is the exact same frame as the xt250 that will cost you a little over 5000, although it does have a different motor.

Powersportmax.com has impeccable sales, service and follow up!

This is a great bike for the money it can not be beaten. Just a BRAND NEW in or on a Pallet right to your driveway. it takes an hour or 2 taking all the protective layers off, but well worth it, I always order ''FULLY ASSEMBLED" because I'm not a good assembly so if you have tools and a good assembler you can save 150-250 on assembly. But your life is Literary on the line, I would not trust myself as I'm not a mechanic so just have it assembled, Fully, because there are 3 types of Deliveries,1st) FULLY ASSEMBLED. 2nd) partly assembled. & 3rd) needs assembly ... So on this bike, I think it was 200-or 250 but if you take to a bike shop, they will charge about 450-950, and up. so that's why I get FULLY ASSIBLED bikes, I needed a horn and the Powersports sent me out one right away, GREAT SERVICE.

So far & it's been almost 3years I love this Bike, it runs great, please change your oil, and you will not have a problem, strong motor, very well put together bike, looks and runs great, When you look at used bikes for around these prices, it's no comparison This Bike is the best move unless your SUPER RICH, in that case, you most likely will not be reading this review. I hope It helps someone on the fence. Thanks
