? Why must PowersportsMax.com verify my shipping address?

? What states are required to pay sales tax?

Orders shipping from Tennessee and New Jersey must be charged sales tax based on the county's rate. California residents living within Los Angeles county will be charged 8.25%. If you live outside of Los Angeles county but in the state of California, a 7.25% tax will be applied. PowersportsMax.com now operates business from locations in CA, TN and NJ to better service our customers across the United States.

Orders shipped to PR will have a 6.6% duty tax applied and a $5.00 handling surcharge. PR orders will default to FedEx's International Economy shipping method and shoppers will be charged accordingly at checkout.

? I am a tax exempt government employee. How do I place an order with PowersportsMax.com that will have no tax applied?

Place your initial order online and please input your local CA, NJ, TN or PR tax rate in the appropriate box on our ordering form. After you have submitted the order, fax us at 626-602-3961 with your Government Tax Exempt permit and include the sales order number. This only must be done one time. If you have made several previous orders, Newegg will refund your tax charge on those orders as well. Any questions, give us a call.

Resellers: Unfortunately we do not currently have a reseller or discount program available at this time. PowersportsMax.com currently already negotiates the best possible price for you, and offers these great discounts to all of our customers through our web site. Tax: All customers outside of California, Tennessee, New Jersey and Puerto Rico will not be charged any tax. Therefore, there is no need to fax or set up any reseller tax exemption form.

It is there for reference only. This is where you can save your Company's Purchase Order number if they have assigned one to that order.

? How can my credit/debit card be declined when I know for certain that I have the funds available?

A credit card can decline due to invalid credit card number, exp date, daily limit, insufficient credit, or other reasons. Sometimes the card number itself is input incorrectly. Check online to be sure the number has been input correctly. Contact your credit card company for more information.

? Does PowersportsMax.com know specifically why my credit/debit card was declined?

The computer does the credit card charges automatically. We are not given a reason when a charge declines. Only that it is declined. Verify you have given us the correct numbers and expiration date. If so, please contact your credit card company or bank for information.If no resolution is reached within 3 business days, this order will be voided.

? Does PowersportsMax.com pay for the return shipping of defective merchandise?

PowersportsMax.com does not pay for the return shipping of defective merchandise. We are not responsible for factory defects because we are not a product manufacturer and we do not produce the parts we carry (similar to a standard walk-in store). Thus Newegg will split the shipping costs with the customer. The customer agrees to pay to send the item back to Newegg and Newegg will consequently repair or replace the component and ship the item at no charge back to the shipping address specified in your account.

You can place an order and pay by check or money order by choosing "pre-paid check" in the payment drop-down box, instead of a credit card, as method of payment. You will receive detailed instructions. Basically, write the order number on your check, print your confirmation and wrap the check or money order in it and send it to us.
